Shushana Hakobyan
Shushana is an accomplished pianist, holds a Master’s degree in music from the prestigious Komitas State Conservatory in Armenia. Additionally, she earned a Graduate Certificate in Keyboard Collaborative Arts from the University of Southern California (USC). As one of the leading soloists of the Armenian State Philharmonic and a founding member of the SHELL Armenia State Philharmonic Trio, Shushana has left an indelible mark on the global music scene. The trio, which she co-founded, embarked on successful tours around the world, captivating audiences across Europe with their exceptional performances.
In collaboration with the renowned violinist and composer Ruben Aghiyan, Shushana formed the Unison Duet. This musical partnership not only completed numerous successful projects but also engaged in charitable initiatives, including the establishment of music schools in villages such as “Achajur” in Armenia. This initiative aims to provide musical education to talented children residing in the border regions of Armenia, supported by the proceeds from their music album, Fantasy and charitable concerts worldwide.
Beyond her performance career, Shushana is the Founder and President of Music For Unity, a testament to her dedication to using music as a means to foster unity and positive change. Additionally, she has established the acclaimed concert series “By The Piano With Shushana”, which has received awards and is steadily growing in popularity.
